Party Bus to Ephraim!

Down in Ephraim, there's a place called the Central Utah Art Center. Every month they have a gallery exhibit feature a few different artists. Last month, my friend Jared had a show there. I couldn't attend the opening night, but I did go down and see it the next day. So when Jared told me about the Party Bus down to Ephraim for Alan and Fletcher's show, I was so on board.

Jared's mustache has reached perfection.

This is probably one of my most favorite photographs of 2011. That's me and Jared on the Party Bus. The bus actually filled up, which was pretty awesome. It probably didn't have anything to do with the unlimited beer.

We left Salt Lake at around 5:30 and got to Ephraim at about 8:15. Here's Alan, one of the artists exhibiting at the show.

And Jared and Alan's girlfriend, whose name I don't know, but I think she looks kind of like my friend Cammie. Jared's hair, right now, is really enjoyable. It reminds me of all the guys I had crushes on in high school.

I think this is just a lovely picture of Greg. He looks so cuddly and warm in it.

Um, did I mention that this was also Fletcher's art show? I haven't seen Daniel since he was Fletcher. I can't even remember the last time I saw him. It might have been in Vegas at my parent's place.

Someone in this picture doesn't like to have his picture taken. I think he's very handsome though and should be in more.

Jared view the upstairs from the downstairs.

Then, a little performance art happened. Everyone milled up to the top floor to see what was going on.

Does anyone know what this 1649 might stand for?

Apparently, the performance symbolized the life and work of Gerard Winstanley, the British 17th century proto-communist who appropriated public lands and planted crops to feed the hungry during famine.

There was a lot of chanting and moving about and I had a hard time seeing it.

Kendall and I had short attention spans and resorted to touching each other during the performance. Much more fun than the chanting.

This is Jared's favorite baby.

This guy, standing to the right of the guy with the red hat, he really enjoyed the beer part of the bus and I shared some pretzels with him.

This is Roman. He's very handsome and Eastern blockish.

That one girl Jen who is involved in all sorts of non-profit funding things.

I thought this guy in the hat was cute.

This cute librarian from the Day-Riverside Library was there!

This is a picture of what was going on with the performance art that we couldn't see.

Another photo of Alan!

I think this is Alan's artwork.

Some people interacting with the art.

I think this is also Alan's art.

This is Fletcher's art.

This is me with horribly bloodshot eyes in front of some of Alan's art.

New friend Morganne getting pizza at the pizza place across the street. I got some cheese sticks. Those were some of the best cheese sticks, ever.

All in all, it was a really fun night. I need to get out more and stop being such an old fuddy-duddy.

And, in case you were dying to see the picture, here's the daily update of my 6-pack in 6-weeks workout. The yogi-berrys are killing me. I've discovered working out is so much better when you watch the workout video on your computer while watching the regular tv at the same time.
