TNA 50,000

I got home from work last night to find this sitting on the table in the front room. Usually when there are packages there, they are not for me. But this time, it was!

I ran to my room with lightening speed and opened it up with abandon (or is that without abandon?). At the beginning of the month, The New Awesome had a competition to see who would be the 50,000th visitor to their blog. I happened to be working late at school and sometimes when I'm working late, I happen to stumble upon people's blogs. Luckily I stumbled upon their blog at the right time.

The New Awesome
is one of my favorite blogs to read. Rebecca and Betsy are always doing fun and interesting things and hanging out with all the people I want to hang out with. In my package, they gave me a very beautiful magnet frame with a picture of them to place on my metal cabinet at work.

They also gave me this really, really beautiful 54 week datebook that I don't want to write in because it's so beautiful. It is illustrated and designed by Jill Bliss. I would like to be friends with this Jill Bliss.

About a month ago, my friend Emily introduced me to a thing called Peek-a-Pooh. I think they are available in candy machines at fine stores. I expressed my sheer delight and wanted one so so badly. The New Awesome heard my plea. I now have a Chipmunk Peek-a-Pooh!

There were also Chocolate Sunflower Seed Drops and Salty Sweet & Nutty Trek Mix in the package. This is what I now calling breakfast for the next couple of days.

And then (I know, you're so jealous already by the amount of amazing stuff I've received. Maybe next time when TNA does a competition, you'll take it a little more seriously) I received a package of New Kids on the Block trading cards and a Garbage Pail Kids sticker with a kid named Ig Lou on it. I can only imagine that they gave me the Lou one because sometimes people call me Cindy Lou. I don't even want to open the NKotB cards because keeping them closed and saving them until I'm 90 and giving them to my great grandchildren in their original package will help pay for their new hover-mobiles.

And then, I got the greatest treat of all...my boyfriend Mike. Mike in a box. This is different than a package you might receive from Justin Timberlake, but equally as treasured. I'm feeling really overwhelmed.

Thank you New Awesome for making my life that much better!
I love you!

so. many. reasons to be jealous right now.

where does one even FIND garbage pail kids anymore??? (my mother hated those things and although she didn't make me throw them away, she shamed me by hanging the 13th article of faith on our kitchen wall with special emphasis on the "lovely, of good report or praiseworthy".)
